What is KiwiSync?
KiwiSync is a tool that allows you to import your New Zealand bank transactions into YNAB, a budgeting app that helps you take control of your money.
- Secure connection via Akahu, a New Zealand company providing reliable, secure, and deeply functional account connectivity with NZ financial institutions.
- Connects your bank accounts to YNAB, by importing your data via Akahu and converting your transactions to a format readable by your favourite budgeting app.
- Safe & secure – KiwiSync doesn't maintain any of your transactional data. Transactions are imported, converted, and uploaded to YNAB, then removed from our servers.
How it works
A simple solution for ongoing transaction synchronisation
Importing
Once a day, KiwiSync imports your data from your bank account(s) via Akahu.
Converting
Your transactions are converted to a format readable by YNAB.
Exporting
Your transactions are uploaded to your YNAB accounts at 5pm daily.
