KiwiSync uses Akahu to synchronise your transactions to YNAB.

Akahu is New Zealand's open finance platform. We use Akahu to fetch transaction data from your connected bank account. Find out more about Akahu here.

Upon connecting, KiwiSync will fetch the previous month of transactions for each of your accounts.

From then on, your transactions will be fetched once per day, and synchronised with YNAB.

KiwiSync does not store any of your transactional information. Transactions are fetched from Akahu, converted, and then uploaded to YNAB. At no point is any transactional information stored by KiwiSync.
